Our Founder’s Journey

Alberta Direct Home Care was established and is managed by Mr Ashok, whose journey in care began long before her professional career. Originally from India, Mr Ashok grew up in a joint family where he took on the vital responsibility of caring for her grandparents. This early experience instilled a profound, personal understanding of just how essential compassionate care is to a family’s peace of mind.

This personal mission eventually evolved into a distinguished professional calling. With over a decade of healthcare experience spanning long-term care and hospital settings across Manitoba and Alberta, Veerpal also serves as an active Paramedic with Calgary EMS. This unique background allows Alberta Direct Home Care to offer an elite level of clinical oversight that is rare in traditional home care—ensuring every single client receives care that is as clinically safe as it is heartfelt.
